Join us at Lancaster Cupcake to learn the craft of making your very own small batch soy candles. Blend a custom scent for your candles with an assortment of high quality, phthalate free, carcinogen free, and paraben free oils. The oils for this workshop will be geared towards Bakery/ Gourmand options to compliment our Workshops theme. The best part, 1 cupcake is included per ticket purchase, and their shop will be open till 7:00 PM if you would like to grab extra treats to enjoy/take home.
Decorate your soy candle and 4 tealights with an assortment of biodegradable glitters, crystal chips, and soy wax embeds. You will be guided through step by step, no experience needed! This workshop is for anyone 12 and up. All tools are provided for your soy candle making experience. Bring an apron if you’d like and an open mind, ready to create in a fun, relaxing atmosphere. A wax melter is provided to pre-melt the soy wax by Corina, which is then poured into your own pour pitcher by you, to blend with choice fragrance oils. You will make one amber jar candle and 4 tea lights using 9 oz of soy wax. Your 1 wick amber jar soy candle burns up to 44 hours. Tealights hold .6 oz of wax and burn up to 6 hours.
Trade tealights you create with others in the group to leave with a variety of scents infused with each others creative expression. Can’t wait to create with you!
